Vision 2010: A Blueprint for Excellence in Engineering Education and Research was that plan.

From 2005 until 2010, Waterloo Engineering followed this strategic blueprint to build today's reality. Now the results are in. So how did we do?

In just five years, Waterloo Engineering has made great strides towards securing its place among the leading engineering schools in North America. And with a vision to not simply become bigger, but to grow strategically, we've discovered newfound strength in numbers. More faculty. More graduate students. More international undergrads. More space for learning and research.

In short, we've moved decidedly forward over the Vision 2010 plan period.
