Visiting professors from the main campus in Canada have been intrigued to see
how our small established community is doing and many have said we reflect the
student experience at the main campus. Heading into my first co-op semester, I'm
proud and excited to be a student of Canada's number one university in
Dubai.

Engineering 5
Opening in 2010, Engineering 5 will become home to
mechanical and mechatronics, and systems design engineering, plus electrical and
computer engineering's growing research teams. And our students will work on and
display their projects front and centre in its unique student design
centre.
Engineering 6
Coming 2011 Engineering 6 will provide much needed space to
about half the chemical engineering students and faculty who are currently
housed in the original engineering building on campus.
Quantum Nano Centre
Our rapidly-expanding nanotechnology research and teaching
programs will be located in a wing of the Quantum Nano Centre also scheduled to
be completed in 2010.
